Fans of Runoff probably know that Guillermo Del Toro approached me last year with an interest in making a Runoff movie. Sadly, he has to walk away from directing it since he is now going to do The Hobbit. But have no fear: Runoff is still moving forward in a big way with some heavy hitters behind it. I have to hold my tongue on specifics for now. Let's just say Guillermo made sure he left Runoff alive and well and in good hands.
